Lt. Col Ayad Roston, commander, Military Intelligence Company, 4th Iraqi Army Division, in the northern Salah Ah Din Province, fled to Turkey in 1988 after being injured in a battle against the Saddam Hussein Regime. He immigrated to England as a political refuge and became a British citizen. He has now returned to Iraq to help in the fight against the insurgency.
