    320 Paratroopers from the United States, Germany, and France conduct airborne operations into Sainte-Mere-Eglise, France on June 5, 2016 to commemorate the 72nd D-Day Landing Anniversary in Normandy. The Jump is conducted to commemorate the sacrifice of Soldiers during World War II, and to foster and nurture U.S. and German relationships, develop interoperability during training, and to provide a basis for future operations in training and real world environments.
