Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Ray Mabus speaks with Navy F/A-18 Green Hornet test pilots Cdr. Beau Duarte and Lcdr. Tom Weaver following a speech by President Barack Obama. The Green Hornet biofuel program is the first Navy aviation test program to evaluate the performance of a 50/50 biofuel blend. The Navy's goal is to develop the certification standards for alternative fuel sources derived from renewable sources that are positive or evironmentally neutral and improve availiability and price stability.
