    The President Barack Obama waves good-bye to the deployed service members and civilians at the conclusion of his speech during a surprise visit to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, March 28. During his remarks he thanked the troops for their dedication and service to the United States. Earlier in the evening, the Commander-in-Chief flew to Kabul to meet with Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai.
