KEY WEST, Florida (May 25, 2016) Naval Air Station Key West's Search and Rescue team delivers a slingload of communications equipment to NAS Key West's Saddlebunch Key after picking it up from Fleming Key. The equipment move was part of a communications training operation for the Florida Air National Guard's 290th Joint Communications Support Squadron out of MacDill Air Force Base. The squadron specializes in globally deployable enroute and early entry communications support to the state of Florida, Department of Defense and other government agencies. NAS Key West is a state-of-the-art facility for air-to-air combat fighter aircraft of all military services and provides world-class pierside support to U.S. and foreign naval vessels..
