NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (May 26, 2016) -- Sailors assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) wear impaired vision goggles and drive karts to simulate driving under the influence during a summer safety expo. The expo coincides with the Navy Safety Center’s 101 Critical Days of Summer campaign, it raises awareness of possible off-duty mishaps during the summer months.
