    During a port visit in Pohnpei, Federate States of Micronesia, May 4, 2016, the crew of USCGC Sequoia (WLB 215) donated seven pallets of books to local schools. During Sequoia’s 30-day law enforcement and fisheries patrol, the crew participated in boating safety workshops with local boat operators, conducted community relations projects to foster positive relationships between the U.S. and our Pacific Island partners and provide educational opportunities for possible career paths.
