Maj. Gen. Michael Rocco, commanding officer of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, hands a noncommissioned officer sword to Master Chief Petty Officer Gary Mendus, the incoming command master chief of the 3rd MAW, during a change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., May 23. During the ceremony, Mendus relieved Master Chief Petty Officer Frank Dominguez from his post after a four-year tour with the wing.
