U.S. Army Pfc. Samuel Vasquez, a combat engineer with A Company, 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion, of the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) places a bangalore explosive during a range to practice breaching wire obstacles May 21. The Soldiers conducted the joint range with the Turkish Army as a part of Exercise Efes 16, a Turkish-led multi-national exercise that includes 5,000 service members from 9 different countries.
