NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (May 13, 2016) --Cmdr. Allan Feenstra, chief engineer, Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) presents Lt. Cmdr. Michael Stone with a certificate of appreciation during a retirement ceremony in the ship's forecastle. Ford is the first of a new class of aircraft carriers currently under construction by Huntington Ingalls Industries Newport News Shipbuilding.
