Cpl. Michael F. Duarte, a combat engineer with Combat Engineer Platoon, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, helps repair a broken barrier Feb. 16 at recently constructed Combat Outpost Reilly. Marines of Charlie Company, 1/3, named the outpost for Lance Cpl. Thomas J. Reilly, Jr., the only Marine from 1/3 killed in action during the battalion's deployment to Iraq last year. Duarte, 24, is from Los Angeles.
