    During the passing of the guidon, a formal military tradition that signifies the relinquishing of command by an outgoing officer and the receiving of command by another, Col. Richard Elam hands the official 50th Regional Support Group guidon to the 50th RSG command sergeant major, Command Sgt. Maj.
