    49th Military Police Brigade

    Spc. Jameson Gurley, a gunner with the 229th Military Police Company, 336th Military Police Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade, secures a position near the entrance of the Baghdad Provincial Directorate of Police headquarters before the March 7 Iraq general election. The 229th provided additional manpower in the event U.S. forces were needed that critical day.
