The Samawah District Council chairman, Bassam Rawak Hedad, addresses the crowd from his district while Staff Sgt. Bryan Nelson, from Kansas City, Mo. and 1st Lt. Nicholas Gilewitch from Mesa, Ariz, both Task Forth Pathfinder, stand by. The event, which gave disadvantaged families desperately needed supplies for winter, was made possible through the assistance of Company A, 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, Task Force Pathfinder and the Muthanna provincial reconstruction team.
