An AH-64 Apache from 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, takes off from its battle position during a live-fire exercise with the Kuwait Air Force at Range 10 near Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, April 26. During the exercise an MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aerial system from Company F, 277th Aviation Regiment, marked targets with a laser while an Air Force joint terminal air controller from the 82nd Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron cleared the Apache crews to fire. This is the first time in history an Army Gray Eagle has lased a target for a KAF Apache. (U.S. Army Photo by 1st Lt. Aaron DeCapua, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade Public Affairs)
