Alaska Air National Guard pararescuemen, assigned to the 212th Rescue Squadron, treat multiple simulated patients at a casualty collection point while participating in a mass-casualty exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 4, 2016. During the exercise, the rescue operators located, assessed, treated and evacuated numerous casualties while engaging and eliminating multiple attacks from opposition forces. In addition to training for combat search and rescue mission, the 212th Rescue Squadron also provides emergency rescue services for Alaska residents and visitors.
