The image shows multiple amphibious assault vehicles (AAVs) staged inside the well deck of a naval amphibious transport ship, partially submerged in water as they prepare for or are in the process of a water launch. The vehicles are painted in military olive/green camouflage and appear to be AAV7A1 or similar amphibious personnel carriers used by marine forces. The well deck is flooded, with white churning water visible around the vehicles.
