    Retired Navy Cmdr. Herb Franck, a Pearl Harbor survivor and World War II veteran, attended the San Diego premiere of HBO's 10-part miniseries "The Pacific" on the USS Midway, Feb. 25. The series follows three Marines across the Pacific theater during World War II.
