U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Cameron Hall, Embedded Observer for the Colorado Blue Team, Southwest Cyber Protection Center in Fort Sam Houston, TX explains ongoing situations in the team to Special Agent Daniel Leyman of the Federal Bureau of Investigation during Cyber Shield 2016 at Camp Atterbury, Ind., April 28, 2016. Participants from 47 states and territories represent both the Red and Blue Team teams. During the second week of the exercise, the Red Team injects different cyber attack scenarios that the Blue Team has to first detect, and then defend in their virtual range. Cyber Shield 16 is an Army National Guard cyber training exercise being held April 18 to 29, 2016 designed to develop cyber-capable forces to include over 900 Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Sailors and civilians from other federal agencies.
