Sailors with 2nd Medical Battalion operate on the leg of a simulated shrapnel victim during the final scenario of Health Service Augmentation Program training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 22, 2016. The sailors were woken up at 0500 by the sounds of simulated artillery rounds and wounded service members. The sailors had to quickly assess the scene and provide medical attention to as many as ten different victims, all with various injuries.
