Soldiers of Company A, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, conduct driver operations and mounted platoon maneuvers with counterparts from the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Crow Valley, Philippines on April 6. The training exercise consisted of both mounted and dismounted movements, and allowed the U.S. infantrymen to observe the tactics and equipment of the AFP soldiers. The training was part of Balikatan 16, a bilateral training exercise that helps maintain a high level of readiness and enhances military-to- military relations and combined combat capabilities.
