DONA ANNA RANGE, NEW MEXICO– Candidates from the Air Force Security Forces Center Ranger Assessment Course 16-1 do sit-ups as part of a stress inoculation test early in the morning of April 23. The stress test was designed to give the 19 Pre-Ranger candidates a taste of what they will face at Ranger School during the Malvesti obstacle course. The test took place on day five of the 15 day Pre-Ranger course, and tested the candidates mental agility and physical strength after days of little sleep and food and nearly non-stop activity.
