Japanese Self-Defense Force (JSDF) personnel in camouflage uniforms and helmets are unloading or loading cardboard boxes from the rear cargo ramp of a military aircraft, likely a tiltrotor or transport aircraft. The boxes are labeled in Japanese and branded 'Pasco,' containing what appears to be packaged food items (flat Danish chocolate pastries, '平焼きデニッシュチョコ'). This appears to be a humanitarian relief or disaster response supply operation.

Japan Self Defense Force members load relief supplies onto a MV-22B Osprey belonging to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit April 22, 2016, at the Kumamoto Airport in Japan. The supplies are in support of the relief effort after a series of earthquakes struck the island of Kyushu. The 31st MEU is the only continually forward-deployed MEU and remains the Marine Corps' force-in-readiness in the Asia-Pacific region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Capt. Jennifer Giles/ Released)
