Marines with Cherry Point’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal carry a piece of debris back to an explosion site during training on a range at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 13, 2016. The training was meant to help the Carteret County Special Response Team understand how to handle situations dealing with explosives. The course covered improvised explosive devices, military munitions, military and civilian explosives, drug and explosive labs, homemade explosives, explosive ordnance disposal response procedures, and a range demonstration using C-4, TNT and dynamite. This is the first time the team has done training with Cherry Point’s EOD. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Mackenzie Gibson/ Released)
