Military personnel are conducting a helicopter jump operation, with one soldier actively exiting through the open door of what appears to be a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. A second soldier inside the aircraft observes while holding a static line, waiting their turn. The image captures a static-line parachute training or operational jump in progress.

Leading by example, Col. Mark R. Stammer, commander of 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), exits a C-130 aircraft, Feb. 12, at Al Asad Airbase, Iraq, as part of the largest airborne training exercise conducted by U.S. forces in Iraq since the beginning of the war. Refreshing the airborne proficiency of his Paratroopers is the first step toward the goal of combined U.S. - Iraqi airborne training exercises and an enduring strategic partnership.
