A historic red wooden building sits on a snow-covered hillside during winter, surrounded by bare deciduous trees under a clear blue sky. Several visitors are gathered around the structure, which appears to be a preserved historic site or museum property. The scene suggests an early spring or late winter visit to what looks like a colonial-era or early American historic landmark.

The Marines with the Expeditionary Warfare School battle site study group visited the reconstructed Neilson Farm, which played key part during the Battle of Saratoga as part of their trip to Saratoga Springs, New York on April 5, 2016. The farm allowed for an elevated view of the terrain and was used as the headquarters for Brig. Gen. Enoch Poor and Gen. Benedict Arnold of the Continental Army.
