Emergency Department staff members assess the injuries of a burn victim of a simulated patient during an emergency management drill at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, April 5. The purpose of the drill, which involved members of the hospital leadership team, emergency department staff, as well as, more than 100 role players, tested the response and training of staff members throughout the hospital, explained Mark Starnes, the hospital’s emergency management specialist.
