Debra-Nicole Huber, the band director of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and Miguel Landestoy, a UML band outreach assistant, meet with and speak to members of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Band during the Educators’ Workshop, March 31, 2016, on Parris Island, S.C. The workshop is a four-day program designed to better inform high school educators and community influencers about the benefits and opportunities available during service in the Marine Corps. This allows the attendees to return to their place of business and provide first-hand experience and knowledge with individuals interested in military service.
