HUNEDOARA, Romania (April 2, 2016) - Morale, Welfare and Recreation Specialist Bunny Merritt leads U.S. Navy Sailors and Department of Defense personnel of Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu to the entrance of Corvin Castle in Hunedoara, Romania on the first day of an overnight MWR trip April 2-3. The weekend trip enabled NSF Deveselu service members and personnel to experience Romanian culture and medieval Transylvania history in two historic sites nearly 200 miles Northwest of the installation. A shore installation of Commander, Navy Installations Command, NSF Deveselu operates the first Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System, supporting NATO’s overall ballistic missile defense security efforts (U.S. Navy photo by MCC Larry Foos/released).
