U.S. Air Force members assigned to the 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes Air National Guard Base, Mass., prepare and inspect hardened aircraft shelters at Keflavik International Airport, Iceland, April 2, 2016. Four F-15C Eagle fighter aircraft from the 131st Fighter Squadron and 194th Fighter Squadron, Air National Guard Base, Calif., along with approximately 200 Airmen are deployed to Iceland to conduct Icelandic Air Surveillance operations April 1-28. Although IAS has been conducted annually since 2008, this is the first time it is part of the Theater Security Package deployment, enhancing regional security and strengthening defense relationships with NATO allies.
