NEW YORK (March 18, 2016) Cmdr. Jason Sticht, commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District New York and a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passing through the ceremonial side boys at the Fort Hamilton Army Reserve Center during the change of command ceremony. During the ceremony, Sticht assumed command of Navy Recruiting District New York, which was established in 1972 to help create an all-volunteer naval force and consists of 40 recruiting stations covering an area of 7,700 square miles.
