Australia is one of the key training partners at the Iraqi Army-run training facility noncommissioned officer (NCO) academy located at Taji Military Complex, Iraq. Australia is part of a coalition of more than 60 international partners that has united to assist and support the Iraqi Security Forces to degrade and defeat Daesh. This unity between coalition partners has contributed to Iraq’s significant progress in halting Daesh's momentum and in some places reversing it.
