Local villagers of the Xiangkhoang Province clear vegetation prior to excavation with members of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) March 7, 2016, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Members of the DPAA deployed to the area in hopes of recovering the remains of a pilot unaccounted for during the Vietnam War era.
