Nathan Alvarez, assigned to Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM) 166 (Reinforced), repairs a piece of equipment from an MV-22 Osprey helicopter cargo ramp in a squadron work center aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Boxer is the flagship of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and is participating in Exercise Ssang Yong 2016, the largest Ssang Yong combined amphibious exercise to date, designed to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary.
