Lt. Cmdr. Erskine Alvis, chaplain with Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations – East, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, uncovers a foot stone, the first of many discoveries of a lost cemetery in Kinston on March 2. The cemetery dates back 160 years and was only thought to be a rumor prior to being successfully found.
