Oregon's 141st BSB train in Iowa

Oregon Army National Guard medics disembark a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during a safety training class, as Iowa Army National Guard pilot, Chief Warrant Officer-2 Jasen Cutsforth with Charlie Company, 2-211th General Support Aviation Battalion (Air Med), supervises training at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa, Feb. 10. The Iowa Army National Guard gave 30 medics with the Oregon Army National Guard’s 141st Brigade Support Battalion (BSB) a class on proper patient loading and unloading and moving to and from a helicopter. For several Soldiers, it was their first flight on a Black Hawk. Members of the 141st BSB used their two-week annual training to meet the national emergency medical technicians annual requirement of 48 hours of classroom and hands-on training. (Photo by Spc.
