U.S. Marine Cpl. Matthew Howard teaches Republic of Korea Marine Lance Cpl. Jun Won Ho how to throw a smoke grenade at Gimpo Training Area, Republic of Korea, Feb. 27, 2016. Marines from both forces practiced urban and detention operations throughout the day. The training took place as part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 16-6, a regularly scheduled training event between the ROK and U.S. Marine Corps. This iteration of KMEP focuses on specialized training between military policemen with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF, and Military Police Company, 2nd ROK Marine Corps Division.
