U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kyle Gnuechtel, an explosive ordinance disposal technician augmented by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), checks an area for metal hits in the Attapeu Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic Feb. 8, 2016. Members of the DPAA deployed to the area in hopes of recovering the remains of two pilots unaccounted for from the Vietnam war.
