Capt. Yolanda Mason, the G33 readiness officer (center) briefs leaders and Soldiers of the 108th Training Commad (IET), on some of the logistical as well as tactical mistakes made during the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, now a National park located in Greensboro, N.C., to fellow Leaders and Soldiers during their staff ride on Feb 6. Representatives from each of the staff sections were assigned tasks such as key figure biographies as well as the tactics of the day and how the lessons learned apply today. The staff rides are training events used by staff members of the unit to learn important lessons from the past in order to ensure success in future conflicts. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Javier Amador)
