A UH-1Y Huey provides notional security and communications during an amphibious demonstration as part of exercise Cobra Gold 16 at Utapao, Thailand, Feb. 12, 2016. The demonstration focused on interoperability and team work to reach mutual goals. Cobra Gold is a multi-national exercise that provides a venue for both United States and all partner nations to increase capability in planning and executing complex and realistic, combined task force operations. The Huey and its crew members are with Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 167, which is currently supporting Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
