160115-N-ZZ999-224 CEBU, Philippines (Jan. 15, 2015) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, alongside members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines 53rd Engineering Brigade place concrete for the foundation of a new two classroom school building at Cantipay Elementary School. The project is a joint effort between the Seabees and the Armed forces of the Philippines. NMCB 3 Construction Civic Action Detail (CCAD)’s mission is to execute engineering civic assistance projects, conduct skills exchanges with the host nation, and perform community relations events to help enhance shared capabilities and maintain relationships.
