SIGONELLA, Sicily (Jan. 31, 2016) Naval Aircrewman (Operator) 2nd Class Brandy Palomino and Naval Aircrewman (Operator) 3rd Class Jessica Myrick, Sailors assigned to the “Golden Eagles” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 9, work together to wash the flight station windows on a P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft at Naval Air Station Sigonella. VP-9 is forward deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and is assigned to Commander, Task Force 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout the European and African areas of responsibility.
