Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral amphibious training exercise designed to improve U.S. Marine Corps and JGSDF’s ability to plan, communicate and conduct combined amphibious operations. During Iron Fist medical personnel from both organizations are given the opportunity to come together to share their knowledge and experience and discuss medical practices.
