Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 2 enter the gates to Afghan Village in a tactical convoy at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Jan. 29. A detachment of approximately 70 Marines travelled to Virginia to support 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment in a Deployment For Training exercise. While at A.P. Hill, CLB-2 used Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacements to transfer gear and personnel to areas that would otherwise be unfeasible to reach. The DFT is just one of many exercises the battalion has supported in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
