Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, process evacuees during a simulated noncombatant evacuation operation Jan. 21, 2016, on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. NEO’s are used to evacuate U.S. citizens from dangerous areas, whether the danger is from a natural disaster or terrorist activities.
