Rodney Roberts, from Thomson, Ga., carries mail aboard the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) during a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4). Oak Hill is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
