Lance Cpl. Kevin Garcia, right, and Lance Cpl. Warren Sattleberg carry Lance Cpl. James Adair during a squad competition Jan. 21, 2016, on Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan. Marines with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, participated in nine events in which they had to locate the station using a compass and complete the unexpected challenge. In this challenge Marines had to simulate evacuating a casualty while carry their pack and extra ammo. Garcia, Sattleberg, and Adair are riflemen with Alpha Co., BLT 1/5, 31st MEU.
