Lao villagers and Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) personnel work together to excavate a suspected F-4 Phantom crash site is the mountains near Xepon, Laos, Jan. 13 to Feb. 12, 2015, looking for evidence of American service members missing in action since the Vietnam War. DPAA conducts investigative search and recovery missions worldwide with the hope of repatriating Americans lost and considered MIA as the result of their service to their country.
