A Marine reads coordinates over the radio to an aircraft flying overhead to accurately and effectively engage the targets scattered along the hillsides of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 13. 2016. The Marines are Joint Tactical Attack Controllers and Joint Fire Observers who are responsible for directing fires of artillery and aircraft.
