A computer numerical control machine at the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight cuts into a piece of metal to create an Air Hammer Direction Finding System component for a UH-60 Black Hawk. The CNC machine can create complex aircraft components from raw metal that would normally be impossible to make conventionally. The 455th EMXS is the only FAA approved organization in theater authorized by Airworthiness Directorates to mount and use equipment in DoD owned and operated aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
